Furfuryl alcohol is mainly used in organic synthesis. It is also used in producing levulin acid, furan resin, furfural resin. It is a good solvent for furan resin, varnish and pigment.


 


Furfural can be used in lubricating oil refining,furfuryl alcohol production by hydrogenation,making medicine and pesticide and used as solvent in petroleum industry.
