What a beautiful object this is. Onyx, warm red gold en set with old mine brilliants giving it a very chic allure. And because of the black, its easily wearable on many colors of clothing.
At the time this piece was made, there was actually a jewel for every stage of the mourning period. A shiny and very decorated jewel would mean the mourning was coming to an end. The center of the onyx stone is decorated by a star filled with beautiful shiny diamonds, This pendant can also be worn as a brooch thanks to the pin that can be screwed on and off at the back.
