Horse On swallow ,a sacrificial article in Eastern Han Dynasty(25-10 AD)
As an outstanding handicraft article in Eastern han which integrates sculpture with bronze casting, It represents the highest art level of the dynasty in the sculpture history ,the neighing house is galloping with its tail raised, three of its hooves are in the air and its hind right hoof treads on a flying swallow which looks bank in horror. The horse seems to be aware of what is happening underneath , but it was too late . with its hooves fast and light and its tail floating in the air ,it like a heavenly steed,which represents the novelty of the designer the streamine and the synnety vividly poutrays the competition between the steed and the swallow who are vying to overtake each other .it is a rare treasurer indeed in china’s history of sculpture .
