Kevlar fiber braided packing seal is made of DuPont's Kevlar yarn impregnated with
PTFE dispersion and processed with lubricant, braided into square cross section.
As the strength and module of Kevlar is as high as the steel-like strength, compared
with other kinds of braided packing, this packing can resist more serve mediaand higher pressure. It can be installed separately or as end rings with otherkinds of packing to combine different characteristics into packing set. This packing is mainly used as the substitute of asbestos in pump systems. Its property
is better than asbestos and it covers all the service ranges which asbestospacking provided. It can be used under very bad conditions where ordinary asbestos
