What is the application of magnesium sacrificial anode?
The answer is to Prevent metal structure from corrosion, that is, one of the methods of cathodic protection.
The technology of cathodic protection is an advanced method for corrosion control. We, Shanxi wuchan group imp. & Exp. LTD. and our manufacturer have studied this technology and produced and exported magnesium anodes for years. The technology is widely used in the fields of corrosion control of buried pipelines, buried or semi-buried oil or water tanks, the shipping engineering, bridges and port projects etc.

The following is the brief introduction of our products.
A. MAGNESIUM INGOT.

7.5 +/-0.5KG 14+/-1KG or as per customer's requirement.
Typical packing.
About one Mt ingot on per wood pallet, two plastic bags and one plastic woven bag.
Fastened with steel bundle. Or as per customer's packing requirement.
B. MAGNESIUM ALLOY.
1. Standard: ASTM B94-92 U.S.A. AZ91HP/MG, AZ63/MG, AZ10/MG, AM60/MG, AM50/MG, AM20/MG, ETC. or GB5153-85. Also, we can produce various types of magnesium alloy, rod fully according to the user's demand.
2. Size; 15 +/-1 kg, 7.5+/-0.5kg, 5+/-0.5kg, 2+/-0.2kg. Etc. Or as per customer's requirement. Typical packing.
About one Mt ingot on per wood pallet, two plastic bags and one plastic woven bag,

C. CAST MAGNESIUM SACRIFICED ANODES.
1. Standard: U.S. Dow company's standard. Or China SYJ19-86.
2. Size: Various types of "D" and "S" shaped according to the standard or as per customer's
requirement for size and shape. Besides bare anodes, we also supply
Packaged anode
We attach a copper lead wire (size, length and insulation type specified by customer) to the Mg.anode and seal the connection interface. If required, the anode will be packaged in a cloth bag with prepared backfill mixture of 75% gypsum, 20% bentonite and 5% sodium sulfate. The backfill mixture works to maintain moisture around the anode and lowers the anode to earth resistance. The packaged anodes are shipped on pallets or wood crates in plastic bags that must be removed prior to installation.
3. Application:
They aret widely used in ship building, port construction, sea work, underearth
pipeline,oil chemical, electricity and other area to protect metal constructure being corroded.

3. Application:
Extruded magnesium rode anode are mainly used in water boiler, heat exchanger, etc. to soft and clean water and prolong the life of the container.

Non-Evaporable Getter For CRT
CRT, which represents Cathode Ray Tube, normally means a fluorescent luminary activated by high-speed electronic beam in vacuum condition.
To evacuate Braun tube if you use a Mechanical method --exhalation cart --, the
pressure inside tube can be down to about 5¡¿10-6 torrs; but this pressure cannot
be enough to emit electronics from the electric gun. Also this way cannot maintain
continuing proper pressure. To solve these problems, the employment of the getter
is highly recommended because it can keep the pressure down by continuously
absorbing remaining gases produced by the chemical reactions.
Getters is generaly divided by two of evaporable getters (EG), which mainly consists of Ba, and nonevaporable getters (NEG), which mainly consists of Zr. The difference is that EG get vaporized when it is heated upto a certain temperature, while NEG does not.
Currently, the getter applied to CRT is evaporable getters.
