Fiberglass chopped strand mat is a non-woven E-or C-glass fiberglass mat product manufactured by spreading continuous filament rovings of 50mm in length randomly and uniformly in combination with polyester binder in powder form (or other binders in emulsion form).
This product is characterized by its excellent resin impregnation, easy mouldability and low cost. It is especially suitable for the applications by hand lay-up FRP mouldings such as various sheets an panels, boat hulls, bath tubs, cooling towers, etc. As well as mouldings by metal match-die pressing, FRP corrugated sheets by continuous production line and sheet moulding compounds(SMC). |

Fiberglass Self-Adhesive Tape
Fiberglass self-adhesive tape is widely used in joining plaster plates, mending drywall cracks and piecing together and making up different kinds of plates. It goes on faster, adheres better, and requires no pasting or stapling. It won't tear, shrink, stretch or bubble, while it hides joints, cracks and holes permanently.
Fiberglass self-adhesive tape is woven with C-glass fiberglass and is treated with a coating and contact adhesive material. Characteristics are high tensile strength, good dimensional stability, stability to temperature, good elasticity, capillary action, and corrosion resistance.

Chopped Strand Mat
Chopped strand mat is an unwoven fabric consisting of randomly distributed chopped strands held together with powder or emulsion binder.Chopped strand mat is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins. The product is most widely used in hand lay-up process and can also be used in filament winding, compression molding and continuous laminating processes. The typical end-use applications include various panels, bath equipment, cooling towers, boats, automotive parts.
Chopped Strand Mat width ranges from 100mm to 2600mm. Uniform density ensures consistent fiberglass content and mechanical properties of the end products. The mats feature good mat integrity, low fuzz, less material waste and small roll diameter. Excellent flexibility ensures good mold ability with no spring back at sharp angles. Fast and consistent wet-out speed in resins and rapid air lease enhance molding productivity and mechanical properties of the end products. The end products have high dry and wet tensile strength and good transparency.
