Prism coupler(PCA-2000 ) is used to research for thin film, bulk material, and waveguiding loss characterization.
Prism Coupler realizes optical waveguiding techniques to measure both the thickness and the index of refraction of dielectric and polymer films.
PCA-2000 has special option to measure the loss.
This option measures loss of planar optical waveguides using the indes matching oil method which gives an accuracy less than 0.06 dB/cm.
